Return to Seminary

Well I have returned to seminary this week. So far I have enjoyed every moment of it. I was received with great joy. Many of my seminary brothers were very happy to have me back after being away ill. So many of them assured me of their prayers during my time of illness. Prayer is so powerful. I believe that thanks to their prayers and the grace of God, I have made a full recovery and am able to return to my studies and further discernment to the priesthood of Jesus Christ.

I feel that this time of illness has only deepened my fidelity to God. He has been so good to me and I am very grateful. Last year I went to Washington D.C. for March for Life with the Diocese of Baton Rouge. There I met many people. Well come to find out one of the young men that went with us is now here at the seminary with me. He told me that he and the youth group he was with had me in their prayers as well. What a humbling experience to have so many people praying for me all around the country. Many people prayed for me and I am very grateful for their prayers.

Now I am back here at seminary about to start a new year. I am going to take a light load of classes, 12 hours. This is so that I can ease back into my studies. I am looking forward to this new semester and continued growth in my spiritual life.

Another thing is that I am so very grateful for my family. My Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister all took great care of me when I was ill. They showed nothing but love and support for me. I miss them very much but know that they are doing well and that I am doing what I feel God has called me to.

Praise God for his goodness and his mercy. Thanks be to God I am back and planning on continuing. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue to walk this journey of life.

May God Bless you with his infinite blessings. May Mother Mary lead you to a deeper faith and relationship in Jesus Christ. AMEN
